Database Engineer Associate : Data Analyst (Job Number:xxxx65)
Description:
SAIC has a contingent job opportunity for a Data Analyst.
This position is contingent upon contract award and located in Mechanicsburg, PA.
Provides database support to all members of the project team. Performs database analyze, conversions loads, reorganizations, verifications, recoveries and general maintenance support. Provides application support during development and testing. Provides production database support. Reviews logical and physical design of existing databases and makes recommendations for modifications to ensure optimum operation efficiency. Monitors the operational databases at production sites for the purpose of identifying problems of database availability, efficiency, validity and security.
Qualifications:
Minimum Experience and Education:
: Bachelors Degree in computer science, information systems management, mathematics, engineering, or other relevant discipline and 0 years of experience or 4 years of related experience in logical and physical database design; two years experience writing structure software; and two years experience in structured analysis and design.
: An additional four years of relevant experience may be substituted for the Bachelors Degree.
