Affordable Housing Property Manager - (Palmyra) in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania For Sale
This position is for a full-time Property Manager at an affordable housing management company in Lebanon County. Qualified candidates will have 3+ years of experience managing either a tax-credit, HUD Multifamily or HUD Public Housing affordable housing development. Candidates must have a complete and thorough understanding of affordable housing rent and occupancy regulations and the annual recertification process. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office. Must have a Real Estate Sales license or be able to acquire within one year of hire. POSITION OVERVIEW The Property Manager is directly responsible for managing one or more facilities to ensure effective fiscal, physical and social soundness. The Property Manager oversees the day to day operations of properties including administration, facilities and marketing. RESPONSIBILITIES Monitors Rent Collections, Prepares and Submits Rent Roll, Verifies Income Complies with HUD, TCAC or other regulations Assist in Maintaining Waiting List, Prepares and Processes Leases Supervises on-site Staff Processes Evictions, Conducts Annual Inspections and Coordinates Repairs Performs the annual resident recertification process Prepares and submits monthly payment vouchers in accordance with HUD requirements. Prepares written and statistical reports. Shows units for leasing and carries out lease-up, move-in and move-out functions.
